There’s nothing like a  tune to get you a little excited to put on some brand new clothes, spray on a little extra smell-good and hit the town.  And DC’s very own Zo! has the newest joint to add to that two-steppin’, wine sippin’ genre.  On July 27th, 2010, his brand new album SunStorm (which is sure to be chock-full of Zo’s trademark blend of smooth soul and jazz) will drop on the beastly independent Foreign Exchange Music label.  Peep the video for the first single “This Could Be the Night” w/ some help from some of his colleagues / very good friends.

p.s. A few days after Michael Jackson’s tragic and untimely passing, Phonte posted a very powerful MySpace blog with his thoughts on the King of Pop.  It was appropriately and lovingly entitled “My Hero Ain’t Molest Them Bitch Ass Kids: Phonte’s Teary-Eyed Tribute to The King.”  This has made the rounds on the Internet like wildfire and I just had to include it.  Read it if you haven’t already.

You basically HAVE to download this.  Seriously.  OK, and I just found out that this is from Liquid Spirits‘ upcoming album, simply entitled Music, on the Kindred Spirts label.  Geez, all this spirutality.  I need some candles in here right now.
