Many folks have been feenin’ to hear some new stuff from slim soul slinger Darien Brockington.  Many have wondered where he’s been.  If you were lucky enough to have The Foreign Exchange in your city last year, you know that he’s been putting in work.  Well, the wait has officially ended. 

The Cold Case Files is a 23-track collection of some fantastic, lush, contemporary soul — something that the industry has been lacking for quite some time now.  After a short break (due to some politics and bullsh*t which he addresses in the album), he’s back to give it another go.  For a mere $5, you can have the whole thing.  Preview the tracks below.  Time to warm things back up.

So beyond Carlitta’s guest appearances I didn’t know much about her.  Then she dropped this new solo joint a couple days ago via her MySpace page.  Wooooooooow.  Love the vibe of this.  There’s always room for a fly little ”fall in love” joint.  I’m gonna continue to bump this for a minute.
