One album that has been on constant rotation whether I’ve been chillin’ @ home or on the go is Long Distance by Paris-based producer Onra. Onra is no newcomer, however. It just so happens that this latest album has grabbed him the most attention and acclaim. It’s a great collage of soul, funk, electro-boogie and more. Futuristic Soul Train in the cosmos type stuff. I can’t get enough of it.
One of the standouts from the project is a T3-(of Slum Village)-assisted track called “The One” that just got the cinematic treatment from Donal Thornton of practice & Theory. Take a ride through the city on a natural high.
