King Most – The Obamix

I missed this the first time around because I don’t think I even knew who King Most was a year ago.  I’ve had the pleasure of formally meeting him through a mutual friend in the fall of 2009.  He’s a good guy and a great DJ.  Since President Obama has been in office for a solid year and some change, King Most decided to re-release this mix to celebrate the anniversary (peep the song titles in the mix).  I’ll let him do the rest of the talking because he explains it best…

It’s been a little over a year since Barack Obama became the 44th president of the United States. And since that auspicious day, Americans, if not the world, have who looked to Obama to cure us of our fears and alleviate our concerns all within a winter, spring, summer, and a fall.

The reason why I’m re-introducing this mix is because some of us have forgotten why we put our cynicism away and adpoted hope in the first place (and some have also forgotten what it is to be patient and realistic). Special thanks to my dude Prince Aries for the artwork and for all the fans, friends, and bloggers who supported my mix over time. I think it reached 25K+ downloads before the zshare link bit the dust.
