VIDEO: Damu the Fudgemunk – “Prosper” (Live in Brooklyn)

JNOTA is always comin’ through with a treat every now neatly placed in an instant messenger window. His man Damu the Fudgemunk was asked to get busy at a BBQ in Brooklyn this past Labor Day Weekend (I can’t remember where the hell I was) and thankfully a video camera was on hand.  Here’s Damu playing the instrumental he produced called “Prosper.”  It’s always good to see proof that you don’t always need high end technology and a multi-million dollar studio to create great beats.  Just some good vibes, a warm atmosphere and an open mind.  Homie is using 3 1/2″ floppy disks and an AKAI MPC2000.  Good stuff.

p.s.  If you’re feeling what you see above, you can cop Damu’s Kilawatt V1 EP on iTunes (or snatch up the vinyl if you’re a purist), which includes the vocal version of “Prosper” featuring Raw Poetic of Panacea.
