The first time I ever heard BJ The Chicago Kid croon was on the hook for Diz Gibran’s “Truly Yours” (one of Diz’s most buzzed-about and standout tracks). A few days ago, this brand new remixed emerged from the Chi-Town soul slinger. He definitely has that Windy City style of R&B deeply embedded in him. Alot of the pain and pleasure that comes from being from such a town. Definitely something to ride out to with the windows halfway down. I hope the kid makes big moves soon.
