I’ve heard of Joy Jones prior to sampling this song. And just recently, there’s been alot of chatter as she just released her new album, Godchild (which you can cop on iTunes now). Great soul warming music there. Something to just relax and let permeate your brain cells. As a treat in celebration of this new album, here’s a joint that’s NOT on the album to whet your appetite. A fantastic cover of Nina Simone’s “Be My Husband.” I’ve had this on repeat on many a late night.
