I heard plenty of Tyler Woods music before I even knew who he was. The most memorable being the hook-man for Buckshot & 9th Wonder’s fantastic single “Hold It Down” (off of The Formula album). Just this week I learned that Tyler is 9th’s new R&B / soul artist who will be dropping his debut album on Jamla at some point in the very near future. If he has 9th Wonder doing all of his production work (as this mixtape alludes to), I’m ready to hear it YESTERDAY. But this will hold me over just fine for now. Alot of people forget that 9th Wonder is a Grammy Award-winner thanks to his work w/ Mary J. Blige. This new team-up will be a winner no matter what.
