I posted the Diamond District album a few entries back. It’s been getting nothing but praise and accolades since they released it for FREE last week. One-third of that group is an emcee / producer by the name of yU. In exclusive conjuction with FRESHselects (Kenny Fresh is a beast, I swear), yU releases his own solo album Before Taxes. I like to think of it as sort of a strong aftershock to the earthquake that was the Diamond District. 16 tracks of that pure, uncut DC/MD/VA dope that has alot of folks trembling and begging for more.
