I’m from Brooklyn, in case you didn’t know. And I’d like to spotlight another Brooklyn representative that lives not too far from where I rest my head (big up Flatbush). His name is MeLo-X. He’s an incredible DJ. He’s an up-and-coming producer. And he’s a part-time emcee. We breed BEASTS here in the 718, folks. MeLo decided that he was going to take Kid CuDi’s monster hit “Day ‘N’ Nite,” breathe some new life into it and drop it on the world real digital-like. And guess what, it KNOCKS. Hey, if Colin Munroe can do it to a Kanye track (and eventually get signed because of it), why the hell not. Let’s have some fun. Bump this LOUD.
I’d also like to mention that this joint was an exclusive for Herfection, a really dope blog that I just started visiting on the regular recently (I’m slow like that). I highly recommend it. Great mix of content if you’re lookin’ for new ish.
