I was totally looking for something else and came across this. I don’t even remember this episode back in the day. Vanilla Ice appears on The Arsenio Hall Show and Arsenio proceeds to son him on national TV. Apparently Flavor Flav came out during Ice’s set (not included here) and Arsenio didn’t get why.
Arsenio seems to take offense to Vanilla having the audacity to say in an interview that he’s sexier than Hammer. Why Hammer got upset about Vanilla Ice talking about him is beyond me. In my dream world, Vanilla Ice woulda stood up and said “Both you AND Hammer can lick the vanilla ice cream cone.”
The funniest part of all of this is that everyone mentioned AND appearing in this clip have somehow, someway been in VH1’s current Celebreality programming (most recently, Arsenio as a host of a game show on an episode of Flavor of Love 3). And I’m still not sure if that’s flattering or not.
So EVERYBODY shut up.
